SAP Solution Architect – Vertrieb & Distribution (m/f/d)

As a SAP Solution Architect for Sales and Distribution (SD), you are responsible for the end-to-end design, optimization and governance of order-to-cash processes (OTC) within our global SAP ERP landscape. You act as a trusted consultant for business and IT stakeholders and ensure stable, scalable and integrated SAP solutions across countries and systems.

You play a key role in the further development of our SAP ECC landscape and its transition to S/4HANA, including pre-projects, ensuring compliance with business processes, architecture principles and integration standards. Your role

Full service responsibility including finance, security, audit, compliance, etc. End-to-end design and continuous improvement of SAP SD/order-to-cash processes Analysis of business requirements and implementation in SAP-compliant solution designs, both for day-to-day business and for projects, while avoiding modifications to the SAP standard Design and optimization of SAP SD standard processes such as pricing, order management, delivery, accounting and returns Close cooperation with related modules such as MM, FI, LE/WM and ideally BW/BDC/SAC Evaluation and definition of SAP standard solutions compared to extensions Use and Evaluation of SAP Customizing, BAdIs, BAPIs and User Exits Responsibility for master data concepts such as business partners and customer-related master data, including pricing and conditions Design and responsibility for integration and interface concepts between SAP and non-SAP systems Ensuring consistent processes and data flows across system boundaries Quality assurance by reviewing solutions, support of test activities and functional validation Takeover of a functional leadership role within projects for solution finding and design Coordination and control of internal and external implementation and operating partners Active participation in ERP transformation initiatives, in particular ECC to S/4HANA Consulting and support for business areas and IT as a solution-oriented savings partner

Successfully completed Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a comparable qualification or professional experience At least 3 years of practical experience in SAP SD / Order-to-Cash, including pricing, billing, delivery, credit management and business partner concepts Proven experience in an international and complex ERP landscape as a Solution Architect or Functional Lead, ideally in SAP S/4HANA or major transformation projects Knowledge in SAP SD-Customizing, as well as solid understanding of the associated modules such as MM, FI and LE/WM Experience in the harmonisation of customer and supplier data across multiple ERP systems Understanding SAP integration patterns, interfaces and data consistency Experience in test coordination, validation and quality assurance Ability to align business requirements with technical feasibility and SAP standards and avoid modifications Experience in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders in complex project environments Experience with SAP change management and ITSM processes, as well as supporting tools such as FreshService and JIRA are beneficial Very good communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly and structured Liquid knowledge of German and English in word and writing
