Number: MER00048R2 In the area of NVH Drive Systems and Integration, we are engaged in the development and optimization of drive systems with regard to noise, vibration and acoustic behavior. Using modern simulation methods, we analyze the structural dynamics of drive systems and their integration into the entire vehicle. We use innovative methods from CAE, data analysis and artificial intelligence to make development processes more efficient and to improve the prediction quality of simulation models. For this challenging and exciting task we are looking for you as a doctoral student for doctoral NVH Drive Systems and Integration. These challenges include: incorporation into existing FE and multibody simulation models Development of a data-driven methodology for creating metamodels for predicting body and airborne sound transmissions Implementation, evaluation and interpretation of FE and multibody simulations Analysis of large simulation data volumes using statistics, machine learning, large language models and AI agencies Selection, implementation and optimization of suitable AI methods and frameworks for metamodeling and automated parameter optimization Programming and development of software solutions in various programming languages Documentation, presentation and discussion of the developed solutions and research results The final topics will be dealt with in consultation with the university, you and us.
