Mainframe Developer (m/f/d)

In your task as a mainframe developer (all genders), you can safely operate the supervised application systems You process service enquiries and incidents, analyse disruptions and ensure a sustainable remedy of problems You bring your own ideas to system improvement and actively promote the optimization and automation of existing applications You continuously develop the systems based on technical, technical and regulatory requirements You'll be working closely with other mainframe system engineers, business analysts and the operating area at our end customer You are responsible for creating detailed requirements, specifications and program codes You test your program codes regularly and ensure careful documentation of your developments

You have a degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics or a comparable qualification In your professional career, you have come into contact with software tools such as IBM ISPF, IBM IMS/DC, IBM RACF, IBM TWS/OPC, IBM RD/z, Compuware FileAid, Compuware Xpediter or Atlassian JIRA You bring practical user knowledge with IBM Job Control Language (JCL), COBOL and SQL with Ideally, you could also gain experience with the software tool IBM REXX and PL/1, but this is not absolutely necessary In the field of databases, you can present knowledge in IBM Db2 Mainframe The operating systems Z/OS (OS390 – MVS/XA) and Windows are not foreign words for you Ideally, you could build your knowledge of IT in an insurance company Your strong team and communication skills combined with your high problem-solving skills help you with your daily tasks You suggest a structured, analytical and independent way of working Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (level C1) complete your profile
