Various tasks You answer customer requests with the focus on INSPIRE (construction planning) and WebGIS. You are in regular communication with the contact persons and key persons of our customers. You advise external customers on our WebGIS and INSPIRE solutions. You take up, qualify and evaluate requirements for the further development of GIS applications in the field of geoinformation with a focus on INSPIRE (construction planning) and WebGIS. Together with our GIS specialist team, you will develop technical solutions. You accompany the developed solutions from initialization to completion. You actively participate in internal projects with GIS reference. Convincing profile Education: You have a degree in geoinformatics, geomatics or geography. Alternatively, you have a comparable qualification, for example in the fields of geodesy, construction drawing, surveying, civil engineering, line construction, network documentation or computer science. Experience: You bring skills and practical experience in the field of geo-information. Knowledge: You have a well-founded knowledge of geodata processing and presentation as well as in the collection and management of (customer) requirements. In addition, you are familiar with specialist data standards such as INSPIRE, XPLAN or ISYBAU. Experiences with ArcGIS for Desktop and ArcGIS Pro from ESRI and ArcGIS Enterprise (formerly “ArcGIS Server”) are desirable. Ideally, you have already worked with UT for ArcGIS and WebOffice of the company VertiGIS. Knowledge in QGIS, GeoServer and OpenLayers as well as in geodata standards such as NAS/ALKIS, DXF, SHP or GeoJSON are beneficial. In addition, it is advantageous if you have experience with FME Desktop/Server from the company Safe Software. Knowledge in relational databases such as Oracle or SQL and in data modeling complete your profile. Ideally, you will also experience Citrix and Cloud/SaaS solutions. Working method: Your working method is analytical, structured and independent. You always think and act user- and service-oriented. Personality: You are characterized by a pronounced team and communication capability. You will also be prepared to work into new topics and to actively shape them. A safe occurrence, resilience and enforcement capability are also your strengths. You have very good knowledge of German that correspond at least to level C1 (certified). English skills are of advantage. About the area For more than thirty years, EnBW ODR AG has been operating geo-information systems for documentation of the supply objects of the ODR group's electricity, gas and telecommunications network. In addition, EnBW ODR AG offers numerous GIS solutions as an independent product line “GeoPortal”, “GuidungsKOMMPass” and “ODR-INSPIRE-Services” to customers from public administration.
