The University Hospital Salzburg of the Paracelsus Medical Private University (PMU) ensures the high-quality health care of the population through interdisciplinary university medicine. For the University Hospital for Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Surgery at the University Hospital of Salzburg of the PMU, the position of the primary physician and the Executive Board is to be taken as soon as possible. The University Hospital for Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Surgery of PMU has 48 full-time positions (including 16 doctors). The tasks of the Executive Board include: Head of the University Hospital for Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Surgery of PMU in all professional, organizational and human matters Developing and ensuring high-quality clinical care for patients in all areas of vascular surgery (including minimally invasive and endovascular procedures) Promotion and coordination of scientific research and medical innovation in vascular surgery Acquisition of third-party funding for research projects as well as further development of the clinic and implementation of new treatment methods Ensuring high-quality technical university teaching for students of human medicine according to modern medical-didactic principles by the clinic Ensuring a structured training at the highest level in all stages of medical development (e.g. training as a specialist, basic training) by the clinic Increasing the national and international visibility of the clinic Cooperation with interdisciplinary teams within university medicine and national and international networks

Technical requirements Specialist in surgery with additive compartment vascular surgery or Specialist in general and vascular surgery or equivalent foreign qualification detectable experience in clinical and scientific management in a vascular surgery department, ideally in academic environment Completed management training or the willingness to complete it in a timely manner.
