System Architect (m/w/d)

The DeutschlandCard is one of Germany's largest commerce media platforms and combines consumers, brands and trade in a new way: directly, data-based and highly efficient. In this role, you create the basis for scalable, safe and performant systems and boost the technical orientation of our digital solutions. With your deep understanding of cloud, integration, and API architectures, you are shaping our technological foundation.

You take responsibility for the architecture of the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) Layers - including structuring of API interfaces, domain blanks and integration patterns You develop a target architecture for online, mobile and partner integration platforms - based on modern cloud and microservice standards You evaluate and select suitable technologies, frameworks and patterns (e.g. API Gateway, BFF-Pattern, Reactive Architectures, Event Streaming) taking into account performance, security and scaling requirements You’ll create and plead architecture and technical design guidelines to ensure a consistent and manageable system landscape As a technical savings partner (m/w/d), you support the development team in key design decisions, refactorings and the introduction of new technologies Secure security by design - including Identity & Access Architecture (OAuth2, OIDC), API security and compliance You control integration with external partners and internal backend systems, including API design, versioning and interface governance

Complete study of computer science or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-availability and cloud-native software solutions Very good knowledge of Java and Web technologies as well as common frameworks, such as JSF, Angular, Hibernate/JPA, Spring, Spring Boot, Kubernetes Found experience in the design of APIs (REST, GraphQL), in API versioning, interface governance and integration with backend systems Experience in the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) pattern, including structuring of domain-specific BFF layers and aggregation of services Safe handling of modern architecture batteries such as l Microservices, Event-driven Architecture, Domain-driven Design or Reactive Programming Experience in the operation of distributed systems on modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) Safe handling of container orchestration and CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of Security-by-Design, Identity & Access Management (e.g. OAuth2, OIDC), API Security and Data Protection Requirements Embossed team and communication skills Analytical way of thinking, structured work and high quality standards Good knowledge of German in word and writing
