Senior Underwriter & Client Manager Reinsurance International (m/f/d)

As an underwriter and client manager (m/w/d), you are a key player for our customers in selected markets. In this function, you are regularly traveling in these countries and represent the R+V Re at international conferences. You care and tax the business relationships and actively shape our reinsurance portfolio. With a view to profitability, diversification and sustainable portfolio development, you can independently analyze markets, customers and risks and meet based underwriting decisions. In trusted cooperation with an interdisciplinary team of experts from the fields of mathematics, insurance, law and natural sciences, you develop solutions for complex issues and actively contribute to the further development of the business. In the concrete implementation, you negotiate with customers and brokers about the design of the reinsurance contracts and take special and project tasks if necessary.

A successfully completed study – best of economics, mathematics or a comparable subject – forms your technical basis. Multiannual professional experience as a contract underwriter with a back insurer ensures that you can start immediately. You will of course bring knowledge of German and English in word and writing; Spanish knowledge is a plus. You convince with a pronounced number and IT affinity, analytical strength and entrepreneurial vision. Finding experience in customer support, negotiation management, and in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will give you the opportunity. Openness for people and cultures, curiosity for new topics and the ability to quickly work on complex issues are among your strengths. An independent, structured and proactive way of working is of course for you. Travel readiness (approx. 30 days a year) completes your profile.
