The organization, as a policy department, comprises the areas of technical accounting as well as finance process & participation management, through which it is responsible for uniform processes and guidelines for financial reporting. To support the team in Ulm, we are looking for a*n Account Expert Participations & Transactions (w/m/d)

Local support for the implementation and application of Accounting Guidelines for foreign companies Identification of the need for updating and supplementing the uniform policy guidelines, coordination of updates with the respective policy owners Ensuring proper allocation of roles (Process Owner) and tasks in the international financial sector Current monitoring: You monitor compliance with the financial processes and responsibilities of the professional side along with the Internal Control Manager Finance and the local management Support of M&A, as well as structuring initiatives and support of the project organisation in the field of accounting Self-elaboration of solutions for structuring initiatives (e.g. Step Plan or Structure Paper) in cooperation with the relevant departments Primary contact for complex balance-of-balance-sheet issues in the individual accounts of the holdings Compilation of specialist experts (accounting memorandum) at group level with regard to participations, such as valuation tests or financing Support in financial reporting on the above topics

Complete study of business management, economics or a comparable qualification with a focus on finance / accounting. Multiannual professional experience in Accounting, Auditing or Transaction Consulting Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) as well as basic knowledge of valuation and financial reporting. Detectional experience in monitoring M&A transactions and structuring initiatives, such as conducting due diligence checks, compiling structuring plans, relevant accounting memos or similar tasks. Solution-oriented, structured operation and pronounced process affinity. High interest in the communication and coordination of international stakeholders. Flowing German and English skills
