In the central function IT of Zeppelin GmbH at the Garching site in Munich, we are looking for a ''(Junior) System Engineer (m/w/d)' at the next possible time. You want to:

As a “(Junior) System Engineer (m/w/d)” you are responsible for the representation of the relationships between the components of the IT platform/infrastructure (i.e. end-users of technologies, software and hardware of IT systems and information communication networks).

You will also identify the most important technological interactions and dependencies between systems/platforms that affect the organization's ability to achieve integration, compatibility and performance goals.

To do this, you also take care of ensuring a high-quality and professional system operation with modern monitoring and management tools, controlling our external service providers as well as the 3rd level support and consulting other IT departments in all system and operating questions.

The assessment of the total cost of ownership and the investment yield of various IT platform/infrastructure alternatives is also part of your task.

We wish:

(multiannual) professional experience in the administration of Windows system environments

(in-depth) knowledge of the Windows server platform as well as sound IT basic knowledge in one or more of the following solutions: MS SQL Server, M365 Services, IIS and Citrix XenApp

Ideally knowledge of some of the following topics: CommVault Data Protection, VMWare and patch management via DSM

Good experience in design, design, planning and installation of Windows server systems and applications based on them

Good experience in supporting far-reaching restructuring of system landscapes and their integration in cloud/saaS services are beneficial

Knowledge about SAP, Salesforce and Workday are beneficial

Experience in the project management of at least 2 technical projects through all phases of the respective project

Development and creation of infrastructure concepts and server standardizations

Integration and control of external service providers

Self-employed, solution-oriented and careful working, coupled with very good conceptual skills

Very good language skills (written, oral and understanding) in German and English
