In this position, you not only shape the technical orientation of our system technology, but also make a direct contribution to the safe supply of people and companies by driving the further development of our network, communication and automation systems. You are responsible for the planning, construction and operation of complex plants at the interface of energy, water, gas, IT and information security – and conduct your teams with technical know-how and vision.

Your team “Systemtechnik” is directly assigned to them, consisting of a total of ten engineers and masters as well as the head of the “Systemtechnik office” with its nine-member team, consisting of technicians and technicians. With these two teams, you will ensure that our networks are operated reliably, intelligently and forward-looking – today and in the future.

This is an unlimited full-time job. You are responsible for the safe and economical operation of system technology. You plan, build and operate the automation, control and remote control technology for power, gas and water supply systems. You ensure the reliable operation of information and communication infrastructure. You are responsible for the Information Security Management System (ISMS) of AVU Netz GmbH. You are responsible for the planning and operation of the Catholic corrosion protection (PPS). You run challenging projects and successfully implement strategic special tasks. You are open to participation in the paid standby service. You lead your area targeted and develop your teams sustainably.

You have a completed degree in engineering or university studies or a comparable degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, automation technology or information technology (Dipl.-Ing. or Master), ideally complemented by several years of professional experience in the field of system engineering or technical infrastructure. You bring profound knowledge in the fields of automation, control, communication and network technology as well as near-OT systems. You have a strong technical understanding, leadership skills and strategic thinking. You bring a pronounced design motivation and a clear target orientation – You are eager to decide on the basis of careful preliminary analyses. You also carry out a corresponding load capacity and deal with problems with a sovereign and efficient manner; actively use your leadership role to perceive design spaces and advance changes. You have a driving licence of Class B and a non-income guidance certificate (submission when taking up the activity).
