Referent*in Revision – Basic work, exams and interface management (code 70/26) As a future-oriented internal revision, the Revision Division strengthens and protects the Max Planck Society with independent, objective testing and consulting services. Our mission is to support the Executive Board in carrying out its control and monitoring tasks in the non-scientific management of the MPG institutions. The revision consists of more than 30 employees, divided into six departments (budgetary and economic management, organisation, personnel, construction, industrial engineering and IT). This cross-disciplinary structure enables holistic testing and consulting activities, especially in the context of digital transformation. As a speaker in revision – basic work, testing and cutting point management, you contribute significantly to the further development of a risk-oriented internal audit.

You develop risk-based test concepts and work programmes for the various departments of the revision, in particular for the areas of budgetary and economic management, organisation and personnel. This takes into account the requirements of the Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS) and the relevant topical requirements (TR) regarding the requirements of the MPG as well as the IT technical requirements. You coordinate and coordinate closely with the departments of construction, industrial engineering and IT in the technical revision. In general, you will ensure a uniform examination and control methodology and promote regular exchanges on cross-cutting issues. You carry out audits in the areas of budgetary and economic governance, organisation and personnel in the MPG institutions and document them.
