The Chair of Medical Information Technology is part of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. The chair is also part of the cross-faculty Helmholtz Institute for Biomedical Engineering. Main areas of work: Automation technology for medicine, physiological measurement technology, portable medical technology (Personal Health Care). We are looking for a scientific specialist who conducts leading research into an AI-based holistic point-of-care system for machine ventilation in intensive care stations. Based on the measurement data collected in the patient data management system (PDMS), you develop deep learning models that accurately reflect the actual state of the patients and derive personalized treatment targets. Then integrate these models seamlessly into the system architecture of the Hospital Information System to enable data-driven and evidence-based decision support. In addition, you take over tasks in teaching and support the self-organization of the chair.

• Higher education (master or comparable) of electrical engineering, communication technology with above-average degree

Supplier: Chair of Medical Information Technology The employment is in the employment relationship. The place shall be occupied at the next possible time and shall be limited to at first 3 years. There is the possibility to extend for another 2 years. The temporary employment is carried out within the framework of the time-limits of the science-time contract law. It is a full-time job.
