Simulation & Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Would you like to examine, among other things, the detection and analysis of modern missile threats and the performance of territorial air and missile defence systems using modelling and simulation?

Are you interested in analysing and evaluating defence logic, tactical working relationships and decision-making processes of complex defence systems?

Do you want to develop simulation models to identify target objects, analyze sensor systems and investigate operational scenarios realistically?

The Defence & Security division is particularly committed to the armed forces and a recognised technical service provider at national and international level in the design of solutions, the monitoring of analysis, development and implementation projects and the provision of services.

Conception and development of simulation architectures for complex military operational investigations Development and implementation of mathematical and physical models for mapping real systems and processes Development, verification and validation of simulation methods, e.g. discrete event simulation and decision-theoretical approaches Construction and development of agent-based models, including based on behavioral trees or Reinforcement Learning Application of numerical methods and algorithmic methods to efficiently model and simulate complex relationships Use of statistical methods, e.g. Design of Experiments and Uncertainty Quantification, to analyze system behavior and uncertainties Implementation of system and operation analyses based on simulations to evaluate future systems and decision options in complex scenarios

Complete study in the field of engineering, applied mathematics, physics or Computational Science Very good knowledge of C++, Python Experience in scientific computing, simulation and modelling Understanding software architectures and design Knowledge in deriving mathematically complex algorithms German and very good English skills
