For the Global Site Development department, we are looking for a*n motivated intern who supports us in the field of global location development. As part of the global location development, we are focusing on factory and location development in the concept phase within factory planning worldwide. As an intern at Mercedes-Benz AG, you have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in one of the leading companies in the automotive industry. These challenges include: Development of a digital tool for evaluating ground plan data from an existing system

Data analysis and automated evaluation of area KPIs and transfer to a dashboard

Automated area management based on user requirements

Independent development of possible AI – integration

Talks and support of our IT partners to create the vision of the future of the digital tool

Willingness to learn new IT programs and independent appropriation of programming skills

Support in the target image process for the development of works

Development and maintenance of planning bases of the works

Independent development and control of the development and implementation of digitalisation instruments in cost planning

Improving the processes and methodologies of FP cost determination over the entire project course

Integrating AI into the cost planning process

The activity can begin from March 2026.
