Preparation of 3D scan data: You develop and implement workflows to transfer point clouds and other 3D scan data into optimized polygonal models and real-time photorealistic scenes. Environment Art: You design, optimize and integrate digital environments, vegetation and other scene elements in the Unreal Engine. Technical testing: You investigate and evaluate innovative reconstruction and representation methods, in particular the use of 3D Gaussian Splatting for digital locations. Coordination: You coordinate cooperation and correspondence with the participating universities, project promoters, companies, authorities and other partners. Academic degree: You have a good academic degree (master or university diploma), preferably in media informatics, computer graphics, game development, digital media or a comparable subject area. Environment Art and Unreal Engine: You have a well-founded knowledge in the creation and optimization of photorealistic 3D environments as well as in the handling of the Unreal Engine. 3D content pipeline: You have practical experience in the preparation of point clouds and 3D scan data as well as their transfer to optimized polygonal models and real-time-capable scenes.
