You are sure to conduct interdisciplinary project teams and external partners: all phases of the project. Further details of your tasks are: Preparation of approval documents and corresponding communication with the authorities Project management from the first idea to planning to commissioning Development of concepts that set new standards and pave the way towards climate neutrality (e.g. geothermal energy) regular review of quality, dates and budgets Working in internal digitization projects, e.g. in the further development of the workflow software used

You have a completed engineering studies in the field of mechanical engineering, process engineering, energy technology, supply technology or a comparable qualification. In your professional career, you have already gained several years of experience in project management or project management in the energy or industrial environment. Iqony Heat supplies private households, large customers:in the northern Ruhr region with climate-friendly district heating. A supply of about 1.5 billion kilowatt hours is reliably fed into the inner-city networks over a network of more than 750 kilometres of cross-section – the supply area ranges from Datteln to Recklinghausen to Gelsenkirchen and Wanne-Eickel. The company develops its heat supply increasingly climate-friendly. For this purpose, it uses, among other things, heat from four pit gas power plants and waste heat from the waste incineration plant in Herten. In addition, waste heat from the refinery in Gelsenkirchen – the largest waste heat project on CO2 savings in NRW.
