As a service engineer Mechatronik (m/w/d) in the field service, you ensure smooth operation of mechatronic vacuum pumps at local customers – from commissioning to troubleshooting. With your technical know-how, you can make a direct contribution to production safety and customer satisfaction, particularly in technologically demanding industries such as machine and plant engineering, chemistry or the semiconductor industry. You take over the independent commissioning of complex pump and vacuum systems directly from the customer on site – mainly throughout Germany, occasionally also worldwide. Professional fault analyses and targeted troubleshooting ensure that the systems are back in use as soon as possible. Regular maintenance and repair operations ensure the long-term reliability and performance of the systems. You carry out practical customer training to optimally instruct users to operate the systems. After each application you create precise maintenance and commissioning protocols that document the technical state and ensure traceability.

You have successfully completed a training as a mechatronic or electronic engineer and then continue to qualify as technician of mechatronics or electrical engineering. Ideally, you bring first experience in technical field services or in dealing with mechatronic systems and are also familiar with the work of complex systems, think solution-oriented and act responsibly – even under time pressure. A high level of customer orientation, flexibility and readiness to travel (50%) is what distinguishes you. Good knowledge of English in word and writing complete your profile. A well-founded incorporation takes place directly with the customer at the location in Schleswig-Holstein (duration about 2-3 months).
