Software Developer Autonomous Navigation (m/f/d)

Your new tasks:

• You develop and care software functions and user interfaces around maritime navigation with the focus on “Autonomous Navigation”.
• Your task involves ensuring compliance with requirements, conformity, quality, processes, standards and safety requirements.
• In general, your tasks are along our software development process, from design to implementation and testing to bug fixation.
• You build the domain, method and technology knowledge required for your job and provide your expertise in the team.
• You are actively working on improving our skills, development culture, processes, efficiency and innovativeness.
• You enter interfaces and software realizations for our external partners.

You fit us if:

• You have a degree in the field of computer science or science, or you have a comparable qualification.
• You can safely master object-oriented programming, ideally already in our most used languages C++, Python and Qt/QML.
• You are familiar with modern software development methods and you want to develop them in the context of AI.
• You have a very good abstraction and analytical ability as well as a quality-conscious and professionally flexible way of working.
• You want to become an expert in the context of maritime navigation and are willing to take responsibility for a software component of our systems.
• You can communicate safely in German and English (equivalent B2).
• You meet the requirements for a successful safety check of Level Ü2 (SÜG).
• Ideally, you are already bringing nautical or UX skills.
