The bridge Rendsburg-Eckernförde e.V. is an association for promoting mental health. The bridge with its over 1,300 employees has been responsible for social and health care in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district since 1984 and is one of the largest employers in the region. It provides assistance and services for people of all ages and in all situations of life. The residential house Eckernförde, with the focus on addiction and age, offers a new beginning without alcohol – as an institution of the special living form. We support this new beginning with a round-the-clock assignment in a binding daily structure. Our residence Rosengang offers people with a primary mental illness comprehensive support in increasing their quality of life. The assistance frame represents a holistic and individual help, aimed at the needs of the residents. Our residence Rosengang is a “special living form”, a service offered by the integration aid according to § 90 SGB IX. The housing estate Gettorf is a special housing for Korsakov and chronically impaired dependency sufferers (CMA). Our goal is to provide these people with long-term support in all areas of life, which have become difficult due to addiction and the consequences associated with it, and which no longer allow independent living. The Weiche Rendsburg is a semi-stationary transition facility for people with addiction, who have opted for a new start without addiction (alcohol, drugs, drugs, Internet and gambling). Women and men with addiction are offered individual support in the context of participation. The residential building Büdelsdorf offers people who have opted for a new beginning without alcohol, security and support through all-the-clock assignment – tailored to personal needs, to a long-term help or to move back to their own apartment. We support respectful, confident and individual.
