In our central function Business Continuity of Zeppelin GmbH at the Garching location near Munich, we are looking for a “Business Continuity Manager (m/w/d)” at the closest possible time. You want to: In your role as Business Continuity Manager (m/w/d) you support the Head of Business Continuity in building, operating and continuously developing an effective Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in the Group.

Through structured processes, clear specifications and effective methods, you can ensure the prevention and management of emergencies and crisis situations and thus strengthen the organisational resilience sustainably.

You are responsible for carrying out business impact analyses, identifying and evaluating risks and deriving appropriate measures to ensure operational performance in emergency and crisis situations, as well as the (IT) emergency provision.

You will also take over the development, introduction and continuous development of emergency and crisis management plans and IT emergency plans, including business continuity plans, disaster recovery and emergency management strategies.

In addition, you are responsible for the planning, implementation and optimization of training, emergency exercises, tests and simulations to verify the responsiveness of the organisation and awareness of employees.

The further development of relevant interfaces to adjacent areas (e.g. ISMS, IMS, FM) as well as the establishment of clear communication and reporting paths in the event of an emergency/crisis case also belong to your task area.

In addition, you also take over the support and coordination of emergency and crisis levels as well as security-relevant measures in Germany and abroad.

We wish: Graduate in Business Management, (Information) Security or a related area or alternatively a comparable qualification with corresponding professional experience

Extensive professional experience in Business Continuity Management, Crisis Management or IT Service Continuity Management, ideally with practical experience in managing real crises (e.g. cyber attacks, pandemic, geopolitical events)

Good knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g. ISO/IEC 22301, BSI 200-4, NIST) in the field of business continuity management, crisis management and, where appropriate, Information security

experience in building, operation, improvement and/or auditing a BCMS or emergency/crisis management system

Ideally good experience in creating and introducing security concepts as well as in carrying out risk analyses and audits

Very good knowledge of English and German in word and writing
