Engineer Wood Technology / Wood Technology as Consultant / Specialist Consultant for Industrial Woodworking (m/f/d)

As a specialist supplier for industrial woodworking, you will advise manufacturers and operators in safety issues - with special focus on wood packaging and sawmills. You plan safety testing and certification of work equipment, carry out these and cooperate in the preparation of safety requirements and test recommendations. In addition to your cooperation in (inter)national bodies and working groups as well as the (inter)national standardisation, you will initiate and support development and research projects. With the help of your pedagogical-didactic skills, you can write and publish not only specialist literature, but also study and guide specialist events. In addition, you will develop and maintain seminars and further training for internal and external target groups and create fonts and rules. Your team skills are demonstrated in close cooperation with state committees, institutions and associations as well as in DGUV's working groups. We provide you with the necessary technical and methodological skills in the course of a comprehensive 1.5-year introduction into the activity, based on your individual requirements and our training curriculum

Completed academic degree (Master / Diplom Univ.) in wood technology/wood technology or a comparable degree course Technical machine knowledge required Ideally professional experience in industrial woodworking with emphasis on wood packaging and sawmills driving licence class B Excellent communication skills as well as very good German (GER C1 or higher) and good technical English (GER B2) readiness to frequent, also multi-day, missions Creativity in solving complex questions and interest in multidisciplinary scientific topics

An unlimited contract of employment in full time, the possibility of parttime is generally given and is examined if appropriate applications are available.
