As an intern*in, you will be fully integrated into our Process Automation Team and learn the everyday life of a product or Knowing services within the One.O. Our international team currently consists of seven employees and combines various areas – from product management and business analysis to automation development with python to operation. We work mainly remotely and meet 1x a week on campus. .

Together with us, you analyze existing processes and develop solutions to optimize and automate them. You develop Python scripts for process automation and gain insights into the orchestration and execution of automated processes via AWS. Every process we automate is basically a small project. You accompany these projects from analysis and conception to technical implementation and gain a comprehensive insight into the practical work of our team. You work closely with our experts on international automation solutions and learn the ongoing operation of a product or Knowing services. Depending on your interests, you can also gain insights into IT product management, process management and work as a business analyst*in. You get the opportunity to get to know modern technologies and gain practical experience in Process Automation within the Otto Group.
You are in an ongoing study or in a Gap Year between Bachelor and Master studies. You have extensive programming skills in Python. You have great interest in automation, programming and process optimization and want to apply and further develop your knowledge in these areas. You work independently, analytically, structured and solution-oriented and enjoy working yourself on new technical topics. You are interested in cloud technologies and are keen to gain practical experience with AWS and modern automation solutions. You have fun understanding processes, identifying potential for improvement and developing concrete solutions together with others. As our team works internationally, you should also have English skills in B2-levelau in addition to German skills in C1 level. You can support our team for about 6 months.
