Technical Consultant / Technischer Berater – IT-Security (m/f/d)

You take care of market analysis and solution scouting. You identify new cybersecurity solutions and trends in the international market. You analyze manufacturers and technologies with regard to market potential and technical suitability. You take the technical validation, perform tests and proof of concepts for new solutions. You'll start technical reports and make recommendations for the business development department. You are the support in the pre-sales, prepare product demos, perform them for potential resellers and advise them technically in the acquisition of new partners. You are part of the implementation service, supports reseller partners in first customer projects, perform installations, configurations and troubleshooting to and from partners as soon as You can implement them independently. You're the knowledge provider, you're the first technical documentation and best practices to carry out training for partners.

You have completed an education in the field of computer science, IT security or comparable training – a completed study would be desirable. You have at least 2 years of professional experience in pre-sales, technical consulting or system integration. You have profound knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, cloud security or related areas. You are familiar with the implementation and configuration of IT security solutions. You feel safe in dealing with common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtualization technologies. Ideally, you have basic knowledge in script languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python). You work structured and draw your attention through your own initiative, a pronounced communication skills and presentation skills. You are ready to travel within the DACH region. You will certainly communicate in German and English in word and writing.
