As a key contributor within Cytiva, the Sales Specialist, Validation Services DACH region plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and strategic positioning of our Validation Services solutions within the Fast Trak portfolio. This highly independent and impactful position developing and executing a comprehensive sales action plan aimed at achieving and surpassing European sales targets, while welcoming Cytiva's leadership in the biopharma services market. This position is part of the PDVS commercial organization. It reports to the Senior Director Global Sales, PDVS. Assigned territory is Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It will be fully remote and can be located anywhere in the assigned region. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance therapeutics from discovery to delivery. Develop and execute a sales action plan for the assigned region to meet or exceed, quarterly, and annual sales and orders through direct sales and partnership with commercial colleagues Establish relationships with customer end-users and leaders in the assigned region to successfully promote Cytiva filter validation services solutions, technologies and capabilities. Customer environment is the biopharma and CDMO space targeting molecules in pre-clinical and clinical phase. Involving into regulatory discussions with customers will be key. Provide consultative technical support for processes that require filter validation services and develop and support commercial solutions that meet or exceed the customers' expectations. Report and communicate all business opportunities, solution concepts and strategies while participating and leading funnel review calls. Effectively utilize Funnel Management. Expand the filter validation services business by gaining market share by establishing strong relationships with end-users and successfully promoting Cytiva filter validation services capabilities. Educational Background: BSc in Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering/Life Sciences or equivalent experience. Industry Experience: Strong experience in bioprocess/pharmaceutical manufacturing/CDMO environment or related field Commercial Acumen: First sales experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CDMO field is preferred but not mandatory. Commercial training program will be provided. Technical Understanding: Strong understanding of regulatory and analytical aspects in the validation environment Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to travel – up to 30% with incl. occational overnight, within region as well as occasional overseas travels Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record It would be a plus if you had previous experience in: Experience in validation services for complex molecules search as mAbs as well as new modalities search as viral vectors, mRNA, pDNA, etc. and new modalities to identify opportunities for further growth At Cytiva we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
