As a development engineer for vehicle armoring, you develop and optimize protection systems and armoring solutions for military wheel and chain vehicles. You accompany the entire development phase of a complex system – from definition to verification – and are the contact person for the various disciplines. You are responsible for selecting suitable materials and composite structures, taking into account weight, costs and ballistic requirements. The coordination of prototype construction, tests and test series in close cooperation with internal teams and external partners is also one of your tasks. You support the creation of technical specifications, design documents and test reports.
For this position you need a completed study in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace, materials engineering or a comparable field. You are willing to take on occasional missions. Knowledge in 3D CAD, such as PTC Creo or comparable systems, is desirable. Class B licence is required. Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing complete your profile.
