holistic support of ZEISS SMT in all patent-law issues

Analysis of inventions in exchange with technical experts, preparation and implementation of decisions on patent applications

Control and independent implementation of patent licensing procedures before national and international patent offices, cooperation with domestic and foreign patent lawyers

Support in the enforcement of proprietary rights and defence of foreign intellectual property rights using all legal possibilities in Germany and abroad

Development of international protection strategies

formulation of IP regulations in cooperation agreements and active participation in in interdisciplinary negotiation teams

completed technical or scientific studies, ideally in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or physics

Qualification as a patenteessor or authorised representative before the EPO

multiannual professional experience in an industrial patent department, with sound technology knowledge (e.g. measurement technology)

well-founded knowledge of the peculiarities of foreign patent systems, in particular the USA and Asian industrial states

Communication and negotiation skills in interdisciplinary teams as well as team-oriented cooperation in complex, work-part projects for joint achievement

safe appearance in the national and international environment, very good knowledge of English and German

Ability to render complex technical facts understandable and convincing
