About the opportunity We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to support us in the journey of designing compliance as a product. We want to make sure our ways of working at N26 are fully compliant and we approach the challenge by focusing on the customer. You will join our Technical Operational Resilience (TOR) team to help us set the standard for FinTech resilience practices. In this role, you will: Solve Compliance Complex Challenges: Translate complex regulations into clear, actionable guidance, ensuring compliance is seamlessly integrated into product teams' daily work and decision-making. Create Smart, Frictionless Processes: Design and implement user-centred compliance processes that are intuitive and efficient. Coordinate close with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure these processes are well-aligned across teams. Monitor Process Effectiveness: Continuously assess the impact and adherence of compliance processes, working to refine and improve them based on feedback and performance data. Build the bridge between compliance and product development: Foster close partnerships with engineers, managers, and team to embed an agile, product-centric approach to compliance. You'll empower teams by providing clarity on regulatory and operational compliance requirements while ensuring You can work effectively Educate on and drive change: Design engaging, educational resources tailored to IT compliance for engineers, product managers, and agile coaches, ensuring You have the knowledge and tools necessary to meet compliance standards effectively. Build Automated Reporting & Monitoring: Develop semi-automated compliance reporting and data-analytics solutions that provide continuous visibility into IT security and operational resilience. Act as the data gatekeeper, ensuring that information is accurate, accessible, and actionable. Ensure Alignment with Defense Lines: Coordinate all IT compliance activities with the bank's 2nd and 3rd Lines of Defense to maintain consistency and readiness across internal audit functions. Establish Metrics: Build meaningful KPIs to communicate compliance status and readiness across the organization, secure visibility for senior stakeholders.

Strong Communication & Product Mindset: Excellent communication skills combined with a deep product focus, enabling you to translate into actionable steps for engineering teams. Technical Background: Background in Software, Platform Engineering, or Product Management, with familiarity with cloud infrastructure architecture, DevSecOps, and software development supply chains. Experience in Agile & Engineering Environments: Proven experience working with Agile teams, including Engineering Managers, Product Owners, and Developers. You understand Agile best practices and have a knack for coordinating across interdisciplinary teams. Project & Program Management Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage complex compliance initiatives, track deliverables, and ensure alignment across departments. Fluent in English: Proficient in both written and spoken English to communicate effectively across teams. Self-Starter: Confident in navigating priorities with ease and taking the initiative in complex environments. Results-Oriented: Not afraid to experiment, learn from mistakes, and make meaningful progress. Team Player: Collaborative by nature, empowering team members in reaching their goals. Continuous Improvement Mindset: Continuously seeks improvement, challenging the status quo and embracing feedback.
