For our accounting team, we are looking for an experienced speaker (m/w/d) responsible for all the tasks of the financial and accounting system of a bank independently, reliably and with high professional competence. Your tasks: You will first set monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB and RechKredV and ensure their quality, completeness and schedule. You are working on balance sheet issues, researching legal foundations as needed, and developing expertly sound solutions. You create sales tax returns and support tax policy issues. You analyze financial data, check bookings and ensure the correct mapping of regulatory requirements. You also work in time-critical phases carefully, structured and responsible. You actively contribute to the optimization of processes, identify potential improvements and develop suggestions for increasing efficiency. You work closely with internal interfaces and support projects in the financial sector

You are a specialist with several years of experience in the financial sector of a bank or a comparable institute. You control Microsoft Office, especially Excel, safely and routined. You will feel at home in the accounting rules according to HGB and RechKredV and you will be happy to find out in the law if necessary. You have experience in creating monthly, quarterly and annual accounts. You have basic knowledge of tax law and trust the creation of a VAT declaration. You also work under pressure carefully, conscientiously and structured. You are striving for continuous improvement, looking for optimizations and seeing mistakes as a chance to make things better in the future. You have knowledge of group accounting (e.g. Intercompany vote) You've been dealing with securitisation purposes companies before and maybe you've already had first experiences with them. Communication in English does not pose you too big challenges. You've been working with Lexware, agree21Finish, Elster Online or IDL before, then you'll get even easier to start your new job.
