Your role Head of a team of firmware and algorithm developers, including the planning, coordination and monitoring of development projects in a globally operating company

Promoting the professional development of team members through coaching, training and regular feedback

Responsibility for planning, implementing and monitoring firmware projects in compliance with schedules, budgets

Cooperation with other departments and international teams (e.g. hardware development, quality assurance) to ensure integrated product development

Development and implementation of firmware solutions for real-time and embedded systems for different products and systems

Ensuring compliance with best practices in software development and firmware architecture

Implementation and monitoring of test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of firmware

Responsibility for compliance with legal and normative requirements and cyber security requirements in all development processes

Identification of new technologies and trends in firmware/real-time system development and their integration into existing processes

Promoting an innovation-friendly environment within the team and taking into account global market developments

completed studies in computer science, technical computer science, electrical engineering or a related area

at least 5 years of experience in firmware development, of which at least 2 years in a leadership position

sound knowledge in programming languages such as C, C++ and real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems

Confidence with development tools and methods (e.g. Git, Agile, Scrum)

Knowledge of legal, normative and cyber security requirements in the field of firmware and product development

excellent leadership and communication skills, especially in an international environment

Ability to understand complex technical concepts
