Number: MER0003NW1 We are Strategy! As a product strategy and control department (VAN/PSS) in the Mercedes-Benz Vans business unit, we set the course for product planning, the future vehicle portfolio and the control of existing series. We work hand in hand with our partners on a sustainable strategy of our business unit and ensure the competitiveness of our van products. In the Team Product Strategy MB Vans we are responsible for the following topics: Portfolio investment xEV Powertrain Strategy incl. battery portfolio Product concepts and strategic vehicle projects Competitor Intelligence Complexity management Autonomous Driving Strategy The team portfolio strategy, xEV Powertrain Strategy & Competitor Intelligence MB Vans coordinates strategic vehicle projects in the pilot phase to decision-making and conducts Feasibility studies for product concepts and strategic vehicle projects. In addition, we review and evaluate the vehicle product portfolio for MB Vans in cross-functional terms with the specialist functions. We are also constantly examining our existing series with regard to market potential, competitiveness and complexity. The development and implementation of a groundbreaking xEV powertrain strategy that takes account of economic, regulatory and production aspects is also part of our repertoire. We also work on the strategy of autonomous driving for Mercedes-Benz Vans. As part of the Competitor Intelligence, we keep a cross-functional view of the activities of our competitors and derive relevant action needs from them. The following tasks await you: Support in developing a comprehensive portfolio strategy compensation Participation in the design of new vehicle derivatives of Mercedes-Benz Vans in the strategic phase Working with the XEV powertrain strategy (batteries and eATS) Observing market developments in the field of autonomous driving and presenting recommendations for action Support in the coordination and preparation of cross-functional decision-making templates for decision-making within the Mercedes-Benz Vans Top Management and Mercedes-Benz AG Independent analysis of future automotive trends, competitive comparisons and sales markets Assistance in controlling and continuously improving a central complexity management Supporting the organisation and implementation of cross-functional project teams, workshops and events Support in preparing and implementing special strategic projects for MB Vans management

Degree course Economics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable degree course German and English knowledge in word and writing Secure handling of Microsoft Office (in particular PowerPoint & Excel) High analytical and conceptual skills Rapid opinion Team spirit enthusiasm for automobiles and electric mobility Experience in creating presentations including visualization of complex relationships driving licence class B desirable Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
