Head of R&D - Process Development / Automotive (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the entire research and development strategy of the FEW Group, manage the innovation portfolio and ensure the successful transfer of new technologies into marketable products. You drive the group-wide optimization and standardization of central corporate processes, in particular in development and production, and implement modern methods such as Lean, Agile or Six Sigma. As a leader, you will continue to build the R&D and process organization, develop your teams in a targeted manner and promote a culture that is characterized by innovation and performance orientation. You act as a central interface to management, as well as departments such as production, product management and sales, to coordinate strategic initiatives and ensure smooth cooperation. You have full budgetary and resource responsibility for your area, establish meaningful KPIs to measure success and secure the company's intellectual property.

You have successfully completed technical studies (e.g. vehicle engineering, industrial engineering) and several years of professional experience in product development, preferably in the automotive industry. As an experienced manager, you have already successfully built, controlled and developed complex, interdisciplinary teams. You have a deep understanding of development, production and scaling processes as well as high method competence in project and innovation management. With your analytical work, implementation strength and decision-making capability, you drive changes and convince by clear communication. You communicate fluently in German and have good technical English in word and writing.
