As an enthusiastic embedded software developer (m/w/d), you work as part of our international agile team on products for the personal protective equipment of firefighters. With your passion for technology for life, you contribute to safety. As part of the product development, you develop embedded software for our products in the fields of breathing protection, communication systems and thermal imaging cameras as part of the new and further development. In addition to implementing software, your tasks include requirements analysis, software design, testing and documentation. In doing so, close coordination with neighbouring disciplines such as electronics development, system engineering or validation is possible. In internal communities and initiatives, you work with your colleagues to continuously improve the development department. This includes, for example, the selection of innovative technologies and methods.

CleanCode and Software Craftsmanship are not foreign words for you. You have profound knowledge of software development with C and in particular C++. You are open to the use of AI-assisted development methods and ideally bring together first experience or great interest in AI-assisted programming and code analysis. At the same time, You have a good understanding of the interaction of embedded software and hardware and are safe to use tools such as Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope and Soldering Piston. You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable disciplines and have preferably already several years of professional experience in the development of embedded software. Agility is the culture with which you encounter complex problems. Good knowledge of English and German and the willingness to take over responsibility are yours.
