Firewall Administrator (m/f/d)

• Our team is looking for a dedicated firewall administrator who manages and develops our global firewall infrastructure

• Administration, configuration and documentation of the global firewall infrastructure

• Planning and coordination of the rollout of new firewall infrastructures (HW, SW, operating systems, applications)

• compliance with SLA's (reaction time and processing time) as part of the ticket processing

• Creation of Changes within the Services

• Introduction and documentation of new techniques for the optimization and further development of the service

• Maintaining a Knowledge Base and performing trainings Run software/firmware updates of firewall devices

• Complete study of computer science or comparable training or a comparable qualification

• Comprehensive practical experience with Check Point firewalls and sound network knowledge (Internet and routing logs, IPv4, IPv6), as well as Understanding IT Security Concepts

• ITIL knowledge and experience with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow), as well as knowledge in Netbox (IPAM) and Git

• Remarkable are knowledge of Ansible, Terraform and Python.

• Experience in service level management, as well as incident and problem management as well as familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence.

• Also desirable are CI/CD basic knowledge of Git and GitLab CI for automation

• Strong communication skills for cooperation in interdisciplinary teams

• Analytical thinking: Embossed problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking for the structured solution of complex database and storage problems

• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
