For our maintenance plant in Großräschen we are looking for you as a factory manager (d/w/m).

Technical, economic and personnel management of the maintenance plant in Großräschen with approx. 50 employees Direct reporting line to the Chief Operating Officer of the VTG Group and part of the Senior Leadership Team Planning and control of planned and corrective maintenance measures taking into account statutory requirements and retention requirements Ensuring the operational safety and availability of vehicles and the correct functioning and maintenance of the workshop facilities Implementation of risk and safety assessments and continuous further development of occupational safety standards Optimizing work processes and production processes with focus on efficiency, quality and costs Introduction and development of lean management and lean production principles at the plant Leadership and further development of the work team in cooperation with local executives Development and implementation of factory and company-specific goals in terms of quality, sustainability and efficiency Responsibility for the development and control of KPIs Responsible planning and implementation of optimization projects at the site

Completed study with technical and/or business focus A relevant professional experience appropriate to the position in a manufacturing company and adequate experience in management with personnel responsibility Industrial experience – ideally in maintenance, rail vehicle technology or related areas Modern leadership and communication skills combined with empathy and enthusiasm for the management and further development of employees Entrepreneurial approach, strong target orientation and joy in transferring strategic impulses into operational implementation Experience in the application and control of ERP or PPS systems as well as very good knowledge in handling MS Office Very good English skills in word and writing Reliability and cost- and quality-conscious action Analytical, Structured Operation and Reaction Capacity Enforcement and organisational skills
