We are looking for: For our well-known customers in the metal industry, we are looking for a packer (m/w/d) for the transport safety of machines at the Wuppertal site.

Your tasks:

• Self-contained packaging of machinery and machine components in compliance with quality standards
• Manufacture and processing of wood packaging, including cutting, sawing, mounting
• Adapting pallets, wooden frames and wooden remodelings to machines
• selection and use of suitable packaging materials (e.g. wood, protective films, upholstery, edge protection)
• Safeguarding of machinery for transport, including lashing, load securing and protection against damage
• Transport of pallets and machine parts by forklift

Your profile:

• Experience in transporting large machine components with forklifts and, if necessary, Hall cranes (required stapler license, crane license of advantage)
• Complete training in the field of warehouse logistics, packaging technology, wood technology, metal/machine construction or comparable qualification
• Practical experience in packaging and securing machines and technical devices
• Experience in the processing of wooden packaging incl. Sawing, cutting, mounting and fitting
• knowledge of transport safety, cargo safety according to DIN EN 12195 or comparable standards
• Technical understanding, craftsmanship and physical loadability
• Careful, structured and responsible work
• Teamability and flexibility
