IT Application Manager with a technical focus on securities (m/f/d)

Operational responsibility for applications in the respective area of responsibility as well as ensuring a resilient, cost-conscious operation including control of incidents and problems Control of the technical application side in the tandem with the department, in particular with regard to IT infrastructure, architecture and IT security Coordination of interdisciplinary teams from internal specialists and external service providers to ensure availability, resilience and further development of applications Further development of applications by implementing technical and technical requirements within the framework of the software development process as well as the strategic target images of the bank (determinably simple, scalable, customer-centric, resilient) Participation in technical design specifications for development teams, such as interfaces, processing chains, data management and fault case handling Use of repository and analysis tools in the mainframe environment, such as XINFO, for impact analyses, quality assurance and documentation Control of established providers in the context of existing contracts and active stakeholder management within and outside IT Participation in pioneering projects and active stakeholder management within and outside IT

Complete study of computer science or IT-related training with a technical focus and economic understanding Funded basic knowledge in application design, IT security and regulatory as well as multi-year experience in IT application management or project management in the securities field Experience in the HOST environment, in particular with COBOL, DB2 and JCL process control, as an alternative, high willingness to incorporate existing knowledge in the development, deployment and operation of software Knowledge of application management on the IBM Mainframe and ideally experience with IMS, RACF, MQ, ControlM, COBOL, Assembler and Java Sovereign communication with departments, IT teams and management levels as well as experience in cooperation with external providers and agile project contexts Self-employed, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation with pronounced analytical and conceptual capabilities as well as very good abstraction capacity Experiences already gained in the professional management of teams Ideal experience in the field of securities or capital market processes Active employment with GenKI and digital enablers as well as the desire to make cost-effective implementations; ideally knowledge of regulatory requirements for IT in banks Flowing German (C1), as well as Good (B2) Knowledge of English in Word and Writing
