Senior Specialist in Transportation Management (m/f/d)

In this role, you make sure that market prices are consistently used and significant savings potentials are sustainably realized through professional transport management. Through structured reporting and KPI monitoring, you create the necessary transparency about logistics costs and services – an important basis for sound and resilient management decisions. Your tasks with us: Control transport alerts: You plan and execute national and international transport alerts (RFQ/RFP) to ensure an efficient, competitive procurement process. Treat transport contracts: You conduct contract negotiations with logistics service providers, complete transport contracts and secure economic and sustainable partnerships. Develop supplier performance: You evaluate logistics service providers using relevant KPIs, identify optimization potentials and support the continuous development of our supplier portfolio. Analysis of cost and market potentials: You analyze cost structures and market developments, identify savings potentials and guide economic action recommendations. Promote projects & develop concepts: You develop forward-looking logistics and procurement concepts and conduct cross-departmental projects until successful implementation. Creating Transparency & Management Advises: You create meaningful reporting, prepare decision bases and provide strategic recommendations for management.

Complete economic studies or comparable qualifications 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in the logistics environment Knowledge in KPI-based multi-care management Experience in optimizing service provider costs Impressed data analysis and benchmarking capability Analytical thinking, number affinity and high result orientation Experience in the independent control of complex optimization projects
