Master electrician with a focus on fiber optic technology (m/f/d)

We are looking for Electric master with focus on glass technology m/w/d R-KOM is provider of Internet, telephone and TV in East Bavaria and builds the fiber optic network of the future. Every year we develop over 10,000 units in more than 1,000 buildings – a challenging task. You contribute to the further growth and success of R-KOM with your commitment.

For reliable and trouble-free operation of our passive fiber optic network You carry out OTDR measurements, analyze event locations and take care of the sustainable troubleshooting You create and plead splice plans, document stocks and monitor network changes You are responsible for the work preparation and planning employee assignments You take over the technical acceptance of newly built network sections including Quality control before operation transfer You coordinate the inspection, maintenance and maintenance of the infrastructure You control external interference teams (e.g. civil engineering, LWL assembly) and act as an interface between internal departments and service providers

Complete training as a technician or master in the field of electrical or communications technology Experience in glass fiber technology (NE3 and NE4) as well as with OTDR measurements, fault analyses and splicing technology Safe handling of network documentation systems (ideally Rimo) and good MS office skills Structured working, team capacity, enforcement and communication strength Driving licence class B and willingness to remunerate
