This is precisely what the study is about as an industrial engineer or as an industrial engineer. As one of the leading high-tech companies, we have countless interfaces of technical and commercial areas along the entire process chain: from development to material procurement and product and quality management to manufacturing and sales – as an industrial engineer or sales manager. Business engineers are therefore open to you countless doors at TRUMPF. For this, you will complete a three-year study at DHBW Stuttgart, which consists of overarching technical basic disciplines and commercial learning content. During your three-month semester at the university, you acquire basic theoretical knowledge (concern for technical relationships of mechanical engineering and for business management, etc.) and specialize in various fields (production and logistics, innovation and product management, international marketing and technical sales, etc.). In the practical phases at TRUMPF at the Ditzingen site (Stuttgart), you will get exciting insights into the areas of sales, production marketing, purchasing and construction and manufacturing. To do this, you will work on an independent project as part of your three-month Bachelor thesis phase. You can also spend up to three months in one of our subsidiaries worldwide.
