Process Safety Specialist (m/f/d)

Ensure plant and process safety at the Brunsbüttel plant Responsible for compliance and participation in the development of Sasol PSM standards Working and implementing international PSM requirements Responsible for finding causes (RCA) as well as reporting and classification of events with relevance for plant and process safety Responsible for training measures in the field of plant and process safety Responsible for administrative contacts and correspondence on plant and process safety Management and coordination of contract partners in the field of plant and process safety Initiating and conducting safety studies and analyses (e.g. HAZOP) and risk assessments (LOPA) as well as control of the resulting measures Creation of explosion protection documents or concepts Persecuting legal changes in the field of plant and process security, assessing the impact on the plant and advice on necessary measures Safety assessment and approval of plant changes

Technical engineering degree (e.g. process engineering, automation technology) Professional experience At least 5 years of relevant professional experience Needed personal and professional qualifications Special knowledge in the safety technology of chemical plants Flexibility, team-ability, contact-ability, enforcement capacity, target-sustainability, negotiation skills, analytical thinking, lived feedback culture Very good written and linguistic expressiveness Good knowledge of relevant laws and regulations as well as the legal guidelines and standards for chemical plants High technical understanding Good English knowledge of word and writing
