Consultant Immission Control (m/f/d)

You are responsible for securing, maintaining and improving the safety management system of Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH according to the fault case regulation You create alarm and danger prevention plans, conduct incident exercises, ensure the implementation of disruptive aspects in projects and process disruptive issues in the framework of approval procedures You implement legal requirements for the safety report for an upper-class incident operation and are responsible for the conscientious correspondence of the authorities to content relevant to the event and for the prosecution of legislation in the event of an interference law You take over the supervision and quality assurance of expert opinions on plant safety (e.g. HAZOP, TRAS, safety statements, etc.) as well as the advice of plant operators in compliance with fault-related requirements You are in close cooperation with relevant internal specialist departments, such as e.g. Plant firefighter, occupational safety and medicine and are active in the crisis unit of Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH with You are interested in developing yourself as a professional director of fault case management (w/m/d) and thus taking on further content responsibility

You have a completed degree or Master studies with the field of environmental or process engineering or comparable You bring operational experience in issues related to immission protection and can thus demonstrate good expertise in the field of immission protection and environmental law You have experience in communication with authorities and other stakeholders and are therefore aware of the specificities in regulatory approval procedures You can prove the certificate for fault assignment (w/m/d) or You are ready to purchase them; further qualifications for activities according to BImSchG are a plus You are safe in handling MS Office, SAP/R3 knowledge is desirable You bring a strong communication and team skills, have a high self-initiative and convince with a targeted working method and interest in in interdisciplinary tasks You bring the willingness to participate in a willingness to call if necessary
