As a Senior AWS Platform Engineer, you actively and independently shape the construction and operation of our AWS-based cloud platform You develop our AWS Landing Zone and Multi-Account Strategy independently and implement architecture standards You design scalable, highly available and secure platform services You drive automation and infrastructure as code (e.g. terraform) as well as modern CI/CD processes Ensure stable operation of critical platform components and develop SRE practices (SLOs, SLIs, Incident Management) You are responsible for monitoring, logging and observability solutions You implement security and compliance requirements in the cloud You advise and support development teams when using the platform and work closely with adjacent teams
Complete study in the IT field or comparable qualification Multiannual experience as SRE, DevOps Engineer or platform operation AWS (e.g. IAM, VPC, Organizations, Control Tower) and cloud architectures Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) and CI/CD and Automation Know-how in Observability (Monitoring, Logging, Tracing, Serverless and Container Technologies and Platform Operation Experience in dealing with incident response and on-call structures Knowledge of script or programming languages (e.g. Python, Go or Bash) Understanding security and compliance requirements in cloud environments Very good knowledge of German and English
