The Institute of Transfusion Medicine at the University Hospital of Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) achieves a total of about 45,000 full blood donations as well as thrombocyte and plasmapheresespenden as a regional blood donation center at the locations Kiel and Lübeck. The blood donations are further processed to about 115,000 blood preparations (erythrocyte concentrates, frozen fresh plasms and thrombocyte concentrates) and serve the patient care of the UKSH as well as some surrounding clinics and medical practices. Recording and care of blood donors puncture of veins during pre-examinations or for blood donation Self-permanent execution of blood-image measurements on the automatic analysis machine as well as mechanical plasma and thrombocytes under medical supervision Possibility of co-operation in the co-ordination centre or in the vaccination centre In case of interest, cooperation in the further processing of blood donations

A completed training to/from the doctor's assistant / doctor's assistant or for the medical specialist (MFA) or in another medical profession Ideally already experience in the above mentioned field of activity Professional starters are as welcome as experienced people An independent, conscientious way of working and a high degree of organizational capacity Social competence and understanding in dealing with blood donors
