Your role You will develop, investigate and optimize electron microscopy systems that make an essential contribution to the success of the semiconductor industry, electron-optical designs and adjustments

You develop electron-optical calculation and simulation methods, use your applications from electron-optical systems and budget these

You develop and automate methods for adjusting and qualifying electron optics

You also operate new electron optics themselves, ensure their setup, debugging and specification

You perform such tasks also in the field of ion optics (FIB)

You ensure that developed solutions are transferred to production and service and support these areas not only in the series start with technological problems

In close cooperation with experts from various disciplines, You are driving forward the development and industrialization of our products in a very central position.

You have a very successful degree in physics, (applied) mathematics or comparable

Knowledge of the modelling of physical systems, applied theoretical physics and/or numerical mathematics, and programming knowledge in MatLab

Great passion to address the most technologically demanding challenges with industrially suited product solutions

Ideal knowledge and experience in electron microscopy

A high technical-scientific expertise paired with a certain hands-on mentality, an independent and targeted way of working, good communication skills as well as enforcement ability and great team spirit

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing and the willingness to occasionally travel abroad
