To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as a test engineer for hardware, software & portals. In this role you are our gatekeeper for quality and accompany our products throughout the product life cycle. Not only do you manually test real hardware, but you are actively driving the construction and development of a modern, automated test infrastructure. You work independently, go bugs consistently and make sure that new features and extensions work smoothly and reliably. Your future task as a test engineer*in for hardware, software & portals (m/w/d) Validation of Changes: Targeted manual testing of functional extensions, bug fixes, and firmware updates Release tests: performing release tests within the available time frame Strategic design: design and implementation, extension and maintenance of a scalable, automated test infrastructure to increase the test depth and reduction of the manual test effort Error analysis: Identification, documentation and limitation of software bugs as well as hardware cooling functions based on structured tests, logs, etc. Holistic Testing: Conducting Functional, Regression and Load Testing on Various Devices (Hardware & Embedded Software, SW Tools and Web Portals) along the Life Cycle of Our Devices Interface function: Close exchange with development and support/product management to eliminate sources of error early on (Shift-Left-Testing) Your Profile as Test Engineer for Hardware, Software & Portale (m/w/d) At least three years of professional experience in testing (HW/SW), ideally with ISTQB certification Safe handling of script languages for automation (e.g. Python, Bash) Experience with frameworks such as Pytest, Robot Framework or Selenium First experiences in Rust of advantage Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) Knowledge of common embedded interfaces and protocols, data formats and understanding of schematics is a plus An independent, analytical, structured way of working and the unconditional will to be a guarantee of high quality.
