Our team “RMI-Verbandarbeit” in the Information Management Workshop Truck department is responsible for compliance and implementation of the legal requirements regarding Repair and Maintenance Information (RMI) – exclusively for Mercedes-Benz Trucks. These include the support of special customers under the EU type-approval regulation, the implementation of regulatory requirements, the operation of a customer portal and the establishment of a stable internal network among all relevant areas of expertise. After a successful transition from the Daimler Group to the autonomy of Daimler Truck AG, we are currently in a strategic realignment – with the aim of sustaining our RMI processes and of incorporating internal and external stakeholders in a structured manner.
