Product Manager System Modernization & Data Center Transition (m/f/d)

Responsibility for the product life cycle, including ensuring system availability, analyzing error messages and evaluating change requirements Development of solution alternatives for complex technical challenges, including cost estimates and preparation of decision and cost-effectiveness documents Planning and implementation of product launches, including installation, testing, documentation, acceptances and organisation of internal training Implementation of analyses and quality assurance measures, e.g. evaluation of product data, development of concepts, tools and technical documentation Coordination of requirements and resources, including coordination with stakeholders, time, budget and resource planning Acquisition of project and topic responsibility through the management of smaller projects, working groups and independent processing of special topics Participation in system migration, in particular when converting existing systems to new platforms and technologies (e.g. from server to data center)

Complete study in a technical or scientific field as well as professional experience in technical product or system management Funded knowledge of IT and data center infrastructures, in particular with regard to operation, administration and monitoring of technical systems (ideally Linux-based) In-depth know-how in data center technologies is particularly desirable to be able to take over activities in the data center if necessary. Experience in project management, including application of common methods, planning tools and documentation standards Knowledge of business considerations, quality and configuration management as well as the preparation of technical analyses and evaluation systems Secure handling of IT tools, especially MS Office and SAP Very good knowledge of English as well as pronounced skills in analysis, communication and structuring of complex content Own and responsible functioning as well as ability to clearly assess and implement technical requirements
