Manager Strategic Heat Infrastructure & System Control (m/f/d)

General responsibility for the strategic control, prioritization and further development of district heating as an integral part of the TWL Group's heat and transformation strategy You coordinate the cross-sectoral and cross-species interfaces for district heating expansion between generation, network, customer development and other areas involved. You evaluate investment projects on the basis of cost-effectiveness, risks, CAPEX and OPEX, scenarios and long-term impact on business development and prepare investment decisions based on them Total responsibility for the strategic system, risk and portfolio control of district heating expansion in the voltage field of production, distribution network and customer development and the legal and regulatory requirements You develop and establish group-wide control instruments, governance structures and standards for planning processes, data quality and interface management You are responsible for the strategic reporting and control system for district heating and create transparent and resilient decision bases for management and bodies You lead the Group-wide strategic control group for district heating and further fields of action for heat supply, develop sound recommendations for action and represent the company's interests towards internal and external stakeholders

Completed academic studies (Master/Diplom) of engineering, energy engineering, economic engineering, economics or a comparable discipline Multiannual professional experience in the energy supply industry, in particular in the area of district heating, as well as in the control and implementation of complex infrastructure and transformation projects Comprehensive know-how of district heating systems, their technical, economic and regulatory frameworks, and their strategic development Funded knowledge in the development, evaluation and management of strategic programs in the field of investment, infrastructure and transformation Extensive knowledge of business management, as well as the creation, evaluation and plausibility of complex business cases, investment calculations and scenario analyses Experience in the planning and implementation of network and infrastructure projects including the monitoring of approval and coordination procedures High experience in the preparation and representation of complex issues to the board, management and other decision-making bodies Competent communication, moderation and negotiation skills for making sustainable decisions in different interests
