Teacher (m/w/d) for children and young people (refugees)

One of our main areas of work is the need-oriented care of asylum seekers in institutions and the support of refugees in inclusion in our society. For our work in the refugee accommodation Mockau II in Leipzig, we are looking for reinforcement from June 2025 to carry out a targeted educational offer for children and young people between 6 and 18 years in the subjects Mathe, English, Art and Movement in Parttime (30 hours/where). Implementation of the educational offer for minor refugees in the abovementioned subjects German language teaching everyday Content and methodological design of the educational offering, which should give stability, structure and orientation Focus on content oriented to participants in the class Motivation of children and young people Promoting and preserving social peace and conflict management Cooperation with all departments within the institution, particularly with regard to the protection of violence Documentation of pedagogical work

A completed apprenticeship course or a valid certificate of study for the study of apprenticeship or pedagogy or completed training as a state-recognized educatorin with at least one year of pedagogical training or completed training Continuing training or studies on the DaZ/DaF teacherin Joy of dealing with people from foreign cultures, openness, patience, safe and friendly appearance Intercultural competence and experience in migration Ability to conceptual and structured work Enforcement and team capacity Organizational ability and networked thinking A high personal commitment and resilience Happy work in the team A positive basic attitude towards the Christian values of the Malteser
