The IHK Düsseldorf is the self-government of the regional economy in Düsseldorf, which is responsible for both political representation and services for around 95,000 companies and implements high-level tasks on behalf of the state. They identify topics related to innovation, technology and digitalization that are relevant to our member companies. From this, you develop tailor-made information, event and project formats that you design, organize and implement independently. You maintain and expand your contacts in relevant innovation networks, in particular on research institutions, innovation actors and other partners. You maintain and develop our information services (e.g. website, leaflets, newsletters, social media). Advice on current technology trends and funding opportunities in the fields of research, development, digitalisation and innovation. Initiation and support of technology transfer projects between business and science. Advising technology-oriented startups, in particular funding, innovative business models and university spin-offs. Cooperation with other departments of the IHK and with colleagues from the IHK network.

completed university studies (e.g. engineering or natural sciences, industrial engineering or a comparable degree); Economic knowledge is advantageous. Possible first professional experience in technology management, innovation advice or cooperation with small and medium-sized enterprises. Entrepreneurial thinking and a good understanding of the needs of companies and start-ups – you have the pleasure of actively approaching people and developing practical solutions. Interest in technical and economic developments as well as the ability to convey complex content clearly. Impressed communication strength, safe appearance and enthusiasm – whether in direct conversation or on stage. Ready to actively engage network work and develop formats that promote the exchange between companies, science and other partners. Affinity for digital tools and openness for new methods.

The IHK works with modern and agile methods and advances various innovation and digitization projects. You can also work up to 50% remote if you like. Your desire for further education is actively supported. Germany tickets and other attractive salary components complete the offer.
